According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Apple concept stocks are leading the gains. As of press time, BYD Electronic (00285) rose by 5.91% to HKD 39.4; Cowell (01415) rose by 4.93% to HKD 23.4; Q Tech (01478) rose by 3.1% to HKD 4.33; and Sunny Optical (02382) rose by 1.95% to HKD 49.65.
On the news side, Apple announced its AI strategy, integrating its new "Apple Intelligence" technology into a range of applications, including Siri, and working with OpenAI to introduce ChatGPT to devices such as iPhones. Apple is also pushing for access to other companies' large-scale products, which is expected to boost future sales of iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers.
China International Capital Corporation pointed out that the Apple Intelligence supports upgrades for the iPhone 15 Pro series and above, which is expected to significantly increase demand for device upgrades and drive up Apple's sales. The AI usage experience is expected to further drive user upgrades, and China's Apple supply chain is expected to benefit greatly. Soochow Securities also pointed out that every link in the Apple industry chain represents companies that are expected to lead technology upgrades and create new downstream demands after accelerating the maturity of the AI terminal ecosystem.
