The “Lumi Tester Smart” is a measuring instrument for a hygiene monitoring system using an “ATP test” (*2) that measures and quantifies dirt that cannot be seen with the human eye in restaurant kitchens, food factories, medical sites, etc.
The design of the “Lumi Tester Smart” uses a capacitive touch switch in a simple design that is smooth and has no irregularities. It is easy for users to keep clean and can be measured with intuitive operation. Also, it is designed so that the lid can be opened and closed and the back stand can be pushed out with the handle. Measurement results are linked to the cloud, and can be checked even from a remote location. We pursued a design that allows everyone to easily manage hygiene, not just specially trained experts.
- *1 Kikkoman Co., Ltd. and Optex Co., Ltd. received the award for their achievements in implementing the inventions, etc. that are eligible for the award, and Kikkoman Corporation and Optex Co., Ltd. received the award.
- *2 “ATP testing” is a test method using ATP (adenosine triphosphate) contained in many organic substances, including living organisms, as an indicator of contamination.
