ユニ・チャーム株式会社（代表取締役社長執行役員:高原豪久）は、6月5日の「世界環境デー」に合わせて、PEFC認証^※資材を使用した『ソフィはだおもい』と『ソフィはだおもいORGANIC』シリーズを、2024年6月より全国で順次発売します。

^{※　PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification)とは、世界各国の森林認証制度を相互承認していく認証プログラム。}

発売の背景

当社は、2020年5月に「環境目標2030」を公表し、重要取り組みテーマの一つに「森林破壊に加担しない（調達対応）」を掲げ、「認証パルプ」への切り替えと森林由来資源を原材料に用いる全ての自社工場で「CoC」認証^※を取得することを目標にしています。このような取り組みの一環として、6月5日の「世界環境デー」に合わせて、日本国内の生理用品で初めてPEFC認証資材を『ソフィはだおもい』と『ソフィはだおもいORGANIC』の全商品に採用することにしました。

なお、ツルハグループ様の一部店舗の限定品として、パッケージに紙素材を採用しプラスチック使用量を削減した『ソフィはだおもいORGANIC』を期間限定品として発売します。

(Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Gokyu Takahara) will use PEFC-certified materials for the 'Sofi Hadaomoi' and 'Sofi Hadaomoi ORGANIC' series.^*The 'Sofi Hadaomoi' and 'Sofi Hadaomoi ORGANIC' series, which use PEFC-certified materials, will be launched sequentially nationwide from June 2024.

Background of release.

In May 2020, we announced 'Environmental Target 2030' and established 'Not contributing to deforestation (procurement response)' as one of our important themes. The company is aiming to obtain 'CoC' certification at all of its own factories that use forest-derived resources as raw materials and to switch to certified pulp.
