Now, the official response has come out. Microsoft said on Thursday (June 13) that due to concerns about privacy risks, Microsoft will not "introduce" the Recall feature in the new personal computer Windows system, but will first preview test it in a smaller team.
So, how unreliable is this feature?
Recall is an artificial intelligence feature that tracks computer usage. According to the introduction, the tool takes a screenshot of the customer's computer every few seconds and by default records all operations done by the user in Windows.
That is, the feature will track users' browsing history, voice chats, and create a database of their activities on the computer. The purpose is to allow users to search and retrieve anything they have done on the device, including keeping track of what users have done in applications, tracking real-time communication in meetings, and remembering all research websites visited by users.

In a blog post, Microsoft responded by saying that Recall will only be preview tested on Windows Insider Program (WIP) in the coming weeks, not widely available to Copilot+ PC users on June 18.
