BOC Hong Kong (02388.HK) held a cross-border financial forum and announced the results of the 'Greater Bay Area Corporate Business Needs' survey. The surveyed companies generally believe that the Greater Bay Area market has broad development space and can bring new growth opportunities to their business. Factors that attract companies to settle in cities in the Greater Bay Area include lower operating costs, which are conducive to optimizing company resources, as well as complete industrial supporting facilities that help enhance innovative transformation capabilities.

The survey pointed out that nearly 80% of the surveyed companies have already started operations in cities in the Greater Bay Area, of which nearly 60% have had cross-border business experience for 5 years or more. The top three mainland cities that companies choose to expand their business in are Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Jiangmen. In addition, 66% of the surveyed companies stated that they need a one-stop cross-border financial service solution, focusing on services such as cross-border fund management and RMB cross-border settlement.
