According to statistics from the Haikou Customs, during this year's Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the Haikou Customs regulated a total of CNY 205 million in offshore duty-free shopping, with 219,500 items purchased by 38,600 shoppers. It is reported that during last year's Dragon Boat Festival (from June 22nd to June 24th), Haikou Customs regulated a total of CNY 260 million in offshore duty-free sales, with 43,700 shoppers. Compared with last year, offshore duty-free sales in Hainan during this year's Dragon Boat Festival holiday decreased by 21.1%, and both the number of buyers and the per capita consumption decreased.
