Dragon Mining (01712.HK) announced that the Supreme Court of Sweden did not grant an appeal permit or explain the reasons for the decision regarding the Faboliden environmental permit case.

The announcement stated that the Group has proposed a plan to address the issues raised by the land and environment court ruling as part of the appeal process, but the Supreme Court has not expressed any opinions on these solutions. Due to the ruling, the Faboliden project must now apply for a new permit, including changes to the project that may be accepted by the land and environment court before production can take place.

The company is currently reviewing alternative configurations for the project and mitigation strategies that can be included in the revised permit application to address the concerns of the land and environment court.
