Dentsu Group (brand: "dentsu", headquarters: Dentsu Group Co., Ltd., location: Minato-ku, Tokyo, representative: Representative Executive Officer & Global CEO Akimasa Ishikawa) has decided that Shigeki Endo will become a Group Management Member of Dentsu Group Co., Ltd., and will serve as the "Global CFO Designate" positioned as the next global CFO and take office on July 1, 2024.

Mr. Endo will become the person responsible for the Global Finance function based at Dentsu's Tokyo headquarters, and will report to Yuji Soga, Vice President, Global Chief Governance Officer, and Global CFO. To enhance Dentsu's competitiveness, momentum, and growth opportunities, Mr. Endo will build a strong financial operating structure and enhance the group's governance.

Mr. Endo has more than 30 years of experience as a leader in the global finance field. After graduating from university, he joined Itochu Corporation in 1994, and after working in New York, he joined General Electric (GE) in the United States in 2000. At GE, he served as a financial officer in the United States, Europe, and Asia, and was involved in internal audits, M&A integration, and Six Sigma process improvement. He then joined British American Tobacco (BAT) in 2011, where he served as a financial officer in London, Japan, and Southeast Asia. He joined Accenture in 2018, and most recently held the position of Executive Officer and Japan CFO.

Because Mr. Endo has CFO experience in many regions and countries in global companies, he is the ideal person to lead the global finance function that supports our group's business appropriately.
