Sina US Stock News, November 17 UBSAccording to UBS Global Wealth Management (UBS Global Wealth Management) data, more than half of the world's richest investors are preparing for a decline in the US financial market before the end of next year.

According to a survey of more than 3,400 high-net-worth individuals, about 79% of respondents said they believe that US stocks are moving towards a period of higher volatility.

UBS said that about 55% of respondents said they expect a “sharp decline” in US stocks by the end of 2020.

Cautious investors are preparing for potential turmoil. UBS said that although the stock market continues to reach new highs, cash currently accounts for about 25% of the average assets of these people.

Paula Polito, Head of Global Wealth Management Client Strategy at UBS, said in a statement, “The rapidly changing geopolitical environment is a top concern for global investors. They believe that compared to traditional business fundamentals, the impact of global connectivity and change has had a greater impact on their investment portfolio, which is a significant change from the past.”

The survey was conducted between August and October. Prior to that, the US stock market had just experienced a turbulent third quarter. According to Morningstar (Morningstar) data on US mutual funds and ETFs, investors withdrew about 60 billion US dollars from equity funds in the third quarter, the biggest net quarterly capital outflow since 2009.
