According to the Wisers APP, Dida Inc. (referred to as Dida Chuxing) went through the HKEX main board listing hearing on June 12th, and China International Capital Corporation, Haitong International and Nomura International acted as joint sponsors.

The prospectus shows that Dida Chuxing is a technology-driven platform that mainly provides carpooling platform services by sharing the idle seats of private passenger vehicles, aiming to create more transportation capacity while reducing environmental impact. The company also provides relatively small-scale smart taxi services, aiming to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of stakeholders in the Chinese taxi industry, thereby improving everyone's travel experience.

According to the total transaction and ride volume of carpooling, Dida Chuxing operated the second-largest carpooling platform in China in 2023, with a total carpooling transaction amount of RMB 8.6 billion and carpooling ride volume of 1.303 million times. The market share calculated by transaction volume is 31.8%, and the market share calculated by ride volume is 31.0%. As of December 31, 2023, the company provided carpooling platform services based on the App in 366 cities nationwide, with approximately 1.56 million certified private car owners, of which 5.0 million or 32.0% were active certified private car owners in 2023.

Since its establishment until December 31, 2023, it has provided services to approximately 6.94 million separate carpool passengers. Technology-assisted carpooling services are still in the early stages in China. Specifically, calculated by the transaction volume in 2023, the market shares of taxis, online car-hailing, and carpooling are 54.2%, 41.4%, and 4.4%, respectively. The total transaction volume of the Chinese carpooling market is expected to increase from RMB 37.1 billion in 2024 to RMB 103.9 billion in 2028, and it will account for 8.4% of the Chinese automotive passenger market in 2028, with a compound annual growth rate of 29.4% from 2024 to 2028. The company is ready to seize the growing market opportunities.

Dida Chuxing launched smart taxi services in 2017, focusing on the online car-hailing solution provided by the Dida Taxi Driver App. As of the last practicable date, it has provided taxi-hailing services in 98 cities in China, including 83 cities where the company charges service fees to taxi drivers for facilitating taxi rides. In 2023, the company's market share calculated by completed ride volume was 0.09%, while the market share calculated by the total transaction volume of the entire taxi market in China was 0.07%.

Looking ahead, the company expects to gradually charge service fees in other cities after achieving about 1,000 completed ride volume per day and a response rate of about 50% (which may depend on the city's scale adjustment), and believes that this will ensure that users have the minimum satisfactory experience. It has also developed other smart taxi services for promotion, providing services through a variety of digital toolkits, bringing the convenience of mobile internet into the taxi promotion and riding experience. The company cooperates with local transportation departments, taxi companies and associations for taxi online-hailing services and other smart taxi services.

In terms of finance, Dida Chuxing achieved revenues of approximately RMB 781 million, RMB 569 million and RMB 815 million in 2021, 2022 and 2023, respectively, and the respective gross profits were approximately RMB 631 million, RMB 428 million and RMB 605 million.
