Anhui Tongfeng Electronics (600237.SH) announced that the company has invested in the construction of eight polypropylene capacitor film production lines since the 1980s. The first capacitor film production line was imported from Germany in 1988 and has been running for 36 years. Due to its long construction time, outdated design parameters, serious equipment aging, slow production speed, and high unit output energy consumption, the production line cannot meet the mainstream market requirements, and the produced film can only be used in the low-end market with insufficient product competitiveness. The company plans to carry out technological transformation on this production line to improve production efficiency, reduce operating costs, enhance product performance and meet the needs of mid-to-high end markets.

The project will use the original factory building of the company's first-line production of capacitor film, upgrade and transform the factory building and facilities, introduce a capacitor film production line from abroad, and equip it with some domestic equipment and related public auxiliary works. After the project is completed, it will produce 2,800 tons of polypropylene film and 1,484 tons of recycled particles per year. The estimated total investment of the project is 167 million yuan.
