Saitama Resona's donation type CSR private bond is a product that utilizes a portion of the fees received from its clients who issue private bonds to make donations on behalf of the clients.
Promoting the 75th National Tree-Planting Festival and conveying the appeal of Saitama-produced wood
The National Tree-Planting Festival is held every year to cultivate a love for the country's forests as a central event in the National Land Greening Movement, and it will be held in Saitama Prefecture for the first time in 66 years. We will promote the appeal of Saitama Prefecture, including the Nishikawa forestry area, which is the production area of "Nishikawa lumber," which has been thriving as high-quality wood since the Edo period.※1
Donate 100 seedlings to Saitama Prefecture (75th National Tree-Planting Festival Saitama Prefecture Executive Committee)
Prior to the 75th National Tree-Planting Festival, we will donate 100 seedlings at a tree-planting event to be held in the fall of 2024. In addition, we will offer benefits such as presenting clients who issue private bonds with commemorative items made of Saitama-produced wood and lottery invitations to the "Wooden Activity" workshop where they can learn about forests at the Nishikawa forestry area in Hanno City.
