During the 3-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday (8-10 June), 1.922 million people entered and exited various ports in Macau, with 709,000 travelers, of which 342,000 were inbound tourists mainly passing through checkpoints (141,000 people) followed by the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (80,000 people); and 366,000 outbound tourists during the period.
On yesterday's (10th) Dragon Boat Festival, nearly 83,000 tourists entered Australia, and nearly 120,000 tourists left.
In addition, Macau will hold the International Food Festival starting from Friday (14th). The Australia Tourism Board stated that this is the largest international food and cultural event in Macau in recent years. The promotion and publicity activities have been fully launched locally and abroad to attract more tourists and residents to experience it.
