On the news front, COFCO Packaging has announced that it has received a comprehensive cash tender offer from Huarui Fengquan Development at a tender price of HKD 7.21 per share, a premium of approximately 4.9% over the closing price of HKD 6.87 per share on the last trading day on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, with a trading consideration upper limit of HKD 6.06 billion. According to the announcement, Huarui's parent company is the A-share listed company Org Technology and currently indirectly holds 24.4% of the shares of COFCO Packaging and is the second largest shareholder of COFCO Packaging.
