COFCO Packaging (00906.HK) announced that it has received a privatization proposal from Huarui, which proposes a cash tender offer price of HKD 7.21 per share, representing a premium of 4.95% over the closing price on the previous trading day (7th). The total amount involved is about HKD 6.066 billion. If the acceptance of the tender offer is less than 90%, the shares will continue to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

Currently, Huarui and the concerted action hold a total of 24.43% of the company's share capital.
