Asia Television Holdings (00707) announced that on June 7, 2024, the placement agent entered into a placement agreement with the Company, agreeing to use its best efforts to place up to 218.5 million shares of the placing shares to no less than six independent placing agents at a price of HKD 0.16 per share.

The placement shares account for approximately 16.67% of the Company's issued share capital after the issue of placement and issuance of shares, at a discount of approximately 12.57% to the closing price of HKD 0.183 per share on June 7, 2024. The total proceeds from the placement are approximately HKD 35 million, and the net proceeds from the placement are approximately HKD 34.1 million, of which approximately 58.7% (approximately HKD 20 million) will be used to repay debt, and approximately 41.3% (approximately HKD 14.1 million) will be used as general working capital of the Group. The net amount raised per share of the placement shares is approximately HKD 0.156 per share.
