According to the Zhītōng Cáijīng APP, HSBC China announced that it has launched digital RMB services for its corporate clients, becoming one of the first foreign-funded banks to offer digital RMB services to both corporate and retail customers. As the first transaction after opening the corporate digital RMB service, HSBC tried in the education field, assisting the bilingual education group--Nord Anglia Education Group to open digital RMB services for its six schools in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Jiaxing and Suzhou, and assisting it to successfully complete the first digital RMB collection, further expanding its collection channels.

Zeng Su, Managing Director of HSBC China's Global Payment Solutions department, said that with the continuous expansion of digital RMB application scenarios, the pilot scenes for public business cover not only consumer receipts of retail enterprises, but also breakthroughs in payment settlement, government services, and cross-border payments.
