Futu News reported on June 7 that the three major Hong Kong stock indexes all fell collectively by midday, with the Hang Seng Index down 0.42%, the Technology Index down 1.41%, and the National Index down 0.55%.
By the midday closing, there were 827 rises, 905 falls, and 1288 unchanged in Hong Kong stocks.
In terms of sectors, network technology stocks are mostly down, with Kuaishou down more than 3%, bilibili down nearly 3%, jd.com down more than 2%, Xiaomi down nearly 2%, Tencent down more than 1%, and Meituan down nearly 1%; Netease, Baidu, and Alibaba are slightly up.
Automobile shares weakened, with NIO falling more than 7%, LI Auto and Great Wall Motors falling nearly 3%, BYD Company and Xpeng falling over 1%.
Wind power stocks rose, with Datang Renew up nearly 7%, China Longyuan up more than 5%, China Suntien up more than 4%, and Dongfang Electric up more than 2%.
Gold-related stocks rose, with Lingbao Gold up nearly 5%, Zhaojin Mining and Shandong Gold up more than 2%, and Zijin Mining up nearly 2%.
Electric power stocks are up across the board, with Huadian Power International and Datang International Power Generation up more than 4%, Huaneng Power International and China Resources Power up nearly 4%, and China Power up nearly 2%.
In other sectors, gambling, mobile game, and home appliances sectors are generally weak; the water affairs industry is expected to enter a new round of price increases, with water affairs stocks strong.
In terms of individual stocks,$DATANG RENEW (01798.HK)$rose nearly 7%, the company will promote large-scale equipment update work due to the performance bottleneck of early units.
