On May 5th, Tokai Holdings <3167> announced that its subsidiary, Tokai Gas, has conducted a disaster prevention training (cooking training) in its Shimada showroom and the 'Kurippilandry Shimada Store', a coin laundry store operated by the company in cooperation with the Rokugo District Residents' Association and Rokugo Junior High School, which took place on May 23rd, 2024.

This initiative was carried out as a part of the support for disaster victims in Shimada City under the 'Agreement on Support for Disaster Relief' concluded with Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture in October 2022. Using gas taps, cooking utensils, and emergency power generators set up for disaster prevention, a cooking training with emergency curry and long-term preserved 200 servings of Alpha rice was conducted at the 'Kurippilandry Shimada Store', a coin laundry store operated by the company, assuming a large-scale disaster, and it was confirmed that warm meals could be provided in the event of a disaster.

The company will continue to strengthen its role as a provider of essential infrastructure and enhance the safety and security of local residents in order to fulfill its corporate social responsibility.
