On June 6th, Gelunhui: China's leading customer interaction and marketing technology service provider Aurora Mobile (JG.US) released unaudited financial report for the first quarter ending March 31, 2024. In the first quarter, Aurora's overseas business continued to soar, with EngageLab overseas messaging service platform's customer base growing by more than 30% and cumulative contract amount increasing by more than 60% QoQ, and GPTBots.AI rapidly opening up the market. Aurora achieved a total revenue of 64.5 million yuan, of which subscription service revenue was 42.3 million yuan, an increase of 13% year-on-year. Meanwhile, Aurora continued to adhere to strict cost control, steadily improving its profitability, and Adjusted EBITDA has been positive for three consecutive quarters. It is also worth noting that: 1) Aurora's gross margin soared to 72%, reaching the best level in nearly 10 quarters (since Q4 2021), an increase of 3 percentage points QoQ and 2 percentage points YoY. Aurora achieved a total gross profit of 46.4 million yuan, maintaining year-on-year growth. 2) Aurora's total operating expenses were 53 million yuan, with a significant YoY decrease, the lowest level since its July 2018 IPO. 3) Aurora's Adjusted OPEX (cash part of operating expenses) was 49.1 million yuan, a YoY decrease of about 15%. 4) Aurora's deferred income (representing customer prepayments) has been over 100 million yuan for 16 consecutive quarters, reaching 135 million yuan, maintaining year-on-year growth.
