Kuraray Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hitoshi Kawahara) will be exhibiting at “The Battery Show Europe 2024” to be held in Stuttgart, Germany from 6/18.
This exhibition is Europe's largest exhibition exploring the latest innovations and solutions in battery and electric vehicle (EV) technology, and brings together battery materials and manufacturing, EV, and hybrid vehicle technologies from over 1,000 exhibitors.
Metals, inorganic materials, and thermosetting resins are still the mainstream materials around batteries, but as EVs accelerate, we will introduce eight concepts leading to longer life, higher performance, and lower weight of lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and all-solid-state batteries, centering on “thermoplastic resins,” which are attracting attention from a sustainability perspective.
