On May 5th, Terilogy Holdings <5133> announced that its subsidiary Terilogy Service Ware, which provides ICT solution services, won the "OMOTENASHI SELECTION" hosted by OMOTENASHI NIPPON, which operates ENGAWA, for their multilingual video interpretation service "Mieru Interpreter".
The purpose of the "OMOTENASHI SELECTION" award, founded in 2015, is to discover and promote excellent products and services with a Japanese spirit of hospitality to the world. To certify the winners, physical inspections are carried out by foreign experts living in Japan.
"Mieru Interpreter" is a video interpretation service that connects to interpreters in 13 languages and Japanese sign language via a television telephone and provides real-time interpretation. It has been introduced in a wide range of industries and sectors such as inbound customer service scenes, tourist information centers, local governments and schools, hospitals, and financial institutions.
In the selection of the OMOTENASHI SELECTION, high evaluation was obtained in the item "Does it show consideration for the user and exhibit a sense of insistence?" out of the seven evaluation criteria.
Through "Mieru Interpreter," Terilogy Service Ware aims to deliver Japanese-style hospitality to visitors from all over the world by removing language barriers in a wide range of customer service scenes.
