Total sales in May increased by 18.7% compared to the same month last year, same-store sales (all business days) increased by 5.2%, and same-store sales (excluding renovated stores) increased by 7.3%. The number of stores increased by three from the previous month, reaching 200 stores.
In May, although there was one less holiday compared to last year and many regions experienced higher than usual temperatures, many customers continued to visit stores located in downtown areas.
For the entire cumulative period of fiscal year 2024, total sales increased by 25.7% compared to the same period last year, same-store sales (all business days) increased by 10.5%, and same-store sales (excluding renovated stores) increased by 12.1%.
