With a rich background in business and management leadership, Powell brings decades of experience and a fresh vision to the studio, aiming to enhance its offerings and deepen its community impact.
Powell's career spans executive roles in prominent retail companies, including his tenure as CEO and President of American Freight Furniture and Mattress, as well as CEO and President of Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores. Motivated by a desire for a new challenge and a commitment to local engagement, Powell made the decision to acquire SpeedPro Cleveland West, a studio that has been operational since 2012.
"After more than three decades of working in a large corporate environment and constant travel, I was eager to find a new professional challenge that would allow me to spend more time with my family and serve Cleveland's local businesses," said Powell. Under Powell's leadership, SpeedPro Cleveland West will play an important role in supporting the local business community with graphic and signage needs from window graphics and signs to vehicle wraps, textured wall murals and more. In addition, Powell and his team have established charitable partnerships with organizations such as Make-A-Wish and Cleveland Angels, highlighting their commitment to serving the community. Moving forward, the studio plans to extend its support to additional charitable initiatives, fostering collaboration with local schools and other community organizations.
