The 'Subaru WRX NBR Challenge 2024' (drivers: Carlo Van Dam/Tim Schrick/Takata Sasaki/Rintaro Kubo) started from the pole position of the SP4T class. Even though it was a very tough course, they took the lead from the beginning with no trouble and developed a perfect race thanks to the quick and precise response of the maintenance team which included eight Subaru dealer mechanics. However, due to poor visibility caused by dense fog, the race was suspended for a long time under a red flag when they had improved to 40th place overall, but they eventually received the checker flag for winning the SP4T class while leading the safety car formation lap without being able to restart the race due to the poor weather.
They won the SP4T class for the first time in the past year, ranked 51st overall, and completed 44 laps.*3.

By winning the class at the Nürburgring Circuit (1 lap: 25.95km), also known as the 'ultimate public road' and 'green hell,' Subaru cars have once again demonstrated their reliability, durability and high-level performance, including the Symmetrical AWD and the Subaru Global Platform, showing the true value of the 2.4L direct injection turbo engine.
Subaru and STI will continue to meet the trust and expectations of customers all over the world by realizing 'safety and enjoyment' through reliable manufacturing in motorsports.

"The car was almost completed as planned. However, we couldn't get a clear lap during the qualifying session, so we were relieved when Carlo recorded a time of 8 minutes and 53 seconds in a rainstorm. This car is not heavy or high-powered, but it has become a car that is almost as fast as a GT4 in terms of speed. I think the parts using STI's technology did a good job. Although this year's race ended in seven and a half hours, I wanted to run for 24 hours if possible, as I was confident in its durability. However, I have no regrets."
