On May 31, Bachuan Corporation <3878> announced that it had been awarded a certificate of gratitude on May 8 by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) for its significant contribution to the development of the H3 rocket.

The H3 rocket is a next-generation large-scale core rocket that is being developed as a successor to the currently operational H-IIA rocket so that Japan can continue to have a means of transportation to space. The company has developed a dry air unit that can precisely maintain a dry environment with energy-saving features. In the past, nitrogen was gradually injected into the protective cover in which artificial satellites were stored and dehumidified, but by installing the dry air unit inside the protective cover, the dehumidification time has been significantly reduced. Additionally, the dry air unit can operate at low temperatures during regeneration (dehydration process) during reuse, making it energy-efficient. It has contributed to shortening the maintenance assembly process of artificial satellites by creating a dry environment in a short time while saving energy.
