Business Coach <9562> announced its consolidated financial statements for the Q2 of the fiscal year ending September 2024 (October 2023 to March 2024) on October 10. The revenue was 804 million yen, operating profit was 29 million yen, ordinary profit was 29 million yen, and net profit for the quarter attributable to the parent company's shareholders was 20 million yen. As the company has been preparing quarterly consolidated financial statements from the end of the first quarter, the figures for the same quarter of the previous year and the increase or decrease rate from the same previous year are not presented.

Sales revenue for the talent development business was 657 million yen (up 6.6% YoY), and the segment profit was 116 million yen. Regarding the IT service business, the demand for promoting clients' DX is high, and progress has been made as planned. However, in the cost-cutting consulting business, due to increasing inflation, the personnel have been shifted to large fixed-fee projects, causing delays in closing success-based projects. Sales revenue for the cost-cutting consulting services was 68 million yen, while sales revenue for IT services was 81 million yen.

The financial estimate for the consolidated performance for the fiscal year ending September 2024 remains unchanged from the revised plan announced on April 30, which is revenue of 1.656 billion yen, operating profit of 79 million yen, ordinary profit of 79 million yen, and net income for the period attributable to parent company shareholders of 53 million yen.
