Toyota Boshoku Corporation (Headquarters: Kariya-shi, Aichi; President: Masayoshi Shirayanagi) has developed a “QUALIA POD (QUALIA POD)” equipped with a relaxing function that appeals to the five senses and induces a comfortable nap, making use of technology cultivated through car cabin space development. From 6/3 (Monday) to 6/28 (Friday), it will be installed at the “NARITA PREMIER LOUNGE” in Narita International Airport (Narita City, Chiba Prefecture), and a demonstration test will be conducted for lounge users.
The “QUALIA POD (QUALIA POD)” developed this time is the MX221, which we have been developing as a MaaS shared ride space concept※The highest-grade MX Prime seat has been developed for use in places other than mobility. Similar to MX Prime, the seat shakes like a cradle, and in addition to a system that guides you to take a nap in a short time, it is equipped with personal sound and functions that can produce a relaxing scent, and pursues a comfortable sitting comfort. Also, assuming installation in a public space, even though it has a compact shape, it has the feel of a private room with privacy in mind, creating a space where you can relax.
