According to the Zhitong Finance App, Baoji Capital (08168) announced its interim results for the six months ended March 31, 2024, with revenue of HK$5.735 million, up about 12% year on year; net loss of HK$2.663 million, up 10.77% year on year; loss per share of HK $0.24.

According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to an increase in the total number of institutional finance advisory service transactions, and some of the more complex transactions required a corresponding increase in related service fees.

The increase in net loss was mainly due to the net effect of increased earnings, a decrease in net other losses and an increase in employee welfare expenses of approximately HK$1.3 million.
