About the ranking of “women-active companies”

Based on data on the status of women's activity disclosed by each company in the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare's “Women's Activity Promotion Enterprise Database,” Toyo Keizai defined the standard of activity level as “established in the workplace,” “can be promoted firmly,” and “received a salary comparable to that of men,” and made a ranking. Specifically, they are ranked based on 3 items: “gender ratio of length of service (= average length of service for women ÷ average length of service for men),” “ratio of female managers,” and “gender wage difference (= average wage of women ÷ average wage of men x 100).” Among them, iStyle ranked 21st out of over 30,000 companies, ranking 3rd in the information and communication industry and 4th in the cosmetics industry (chemistry).

Aim to be a company where everyone can play an active role

iStyle has set a mission of “Let's make many people happy while updating the world of beauty,” and is promoting businesses related to cosmetics and beauty. As of the end of June 2023, the ratio of female employees remained at a high level of 72%, and the ratio of female managers was 52%.
