S-POOL ＜2471＞ announced on the 29th that its subsidiary S-Pool Plus will open “Social Farm Waku Pinesu Farm Plus Tokyo Tachikawa” in Tachikawa, Tokyo in 2024/6 (planned).

The farm to be established this time will be the 50th facility nationwide and the 5th facility in Tokyo, and 162 jobs will be created, mainly for people with intellectual and mental disabilities.

The farm is designed to take the safety of people with disabilities into consideration, and the retention rate of workers has exceeded 92%, and currently the number of companies using the farm has reached 610 companies, and more than 3,800 people with disabilities have realized general employment.

While the number of companies actively working to hire people with disabilities is increasing due to an increase in the legal employment rate for people with disabilities and heightened awareness of sustainability, recruitment is concentrated on people with physical disabilities, and expansion of employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities and people with mental disabilities is required.

Under these circumstances, S-Pool Plus will establish a new farm to further promote employment for people with disabilities.
