The “Nagoya Shimizu Fukoku Seimei Building,” which has been being developed by three companies, Shimizu Corporation (President Kazuyuki Inoue), Fukoku Mutual Life Insurance Company (President Yoneyama Yoshiei), and Shimizu General Development Co., Ltd. (President Niida Masayuki), was completed on March 28, and tenants have been moving in sequentially since May.
The Nagoya Shimizu Fukoku Seimei Building began construction in October 2021, aiming to be an advanced and comfortable building where residents can spend their time comfortably, based on the development concept of “an ultra-environmentally friendly office that responds to diverse work styles.”

The scale of the building is 16 floors above ground, with a total floor area of 47,963 meters2So, there is a self-propelled parking lot that can accommodate 210 cars from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor. Exclusive floor where tenants live from the 4th floor to the 15th floor (1 floor: 2,362 meters)2), and is divided into a maximum of 12 compartments (minimum section area 121 m2) We provide a flexible space where you can do it. In addition, each floor is equipped with a shared conference room facing an atrium space and a refreshment space connected to an external balcony.
On the 16th floor, the top floor, there are lounges, conference rooms, and co-working spaces that tenants can use. In addition, the entrance uses a pro-natural design using locally grown wood, and Piloti introduced a kitchen car to create a lively lunchtime atmosphere, making it a major feature of this building. A dedicated application linked to the building OS “DX-Core” has been introduced to reserve conference rooms and control air conditioning on exclusive floors, providing high convenience to residents.
Regarding environmental performance, we have achieved an energy reduction of approximately 60% compared to the standard primary energy consumption, and obtained “ZEB Ready” certification. We are also planning to obtain “CASBEE S rank” environmental certification. Furthermore, by using electricity used in the building as electricity derived from renewable energy, CO for the entire building2Emissions were set to “net zero.” At the same time, we have realized an office building that achieves both environmental performance and BCP performance by maintaining emergency power generation equipment and disaster prevention stockpiles, and ensuring high safety by adopting basic seismic isolation structures, etc.
Following Fukoku Seimei Nagoya Branch, which has moved into the Nagoya Shimizu Fukoku Seimei Building since May, Shimizu Corporation Nagoya Branch and Shimizu General Development Tokai Division/Nagoya Sales Office will move into the future. Also, in addition to Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd., TOPPAN Co., Ltd. (including group companies), and Central Japan Construction Consultants Co., Ltd., many other companies have decided to move in as main tenants, and each tenant is scheduled to relocate and open business sequentially. This building will continue to be an office building providing comfortable workspaces for residents into the future.
