Futu News reported on May 28 that the three major Hong Kong stock indices strengthened slightly. As of midday trading, the Hang Seng Index rose 0.57%, the Science Index rose 0.79%, and the National Index rose 0.65%.
By the midday close, Hong Kong stocks had risen 948, down 746, and closed at 1,320.
On the sector side, many shares of TechNet rose; Tencent rose nearly 2%; Baidu and NetEase rose more than 1%; Meituan and Ali rose nearly 1%; JD, Bilibili, and Kuaishou rose slightly; and Xiaomi fell slightly.
Internet medical stocks rose, Ali Health rose nearly 13%, Ping An Good Doctor and Jingdong Health rose nearly 5%, and Jingdang Health rose more than 3%.
Petroleum stocks rose sharply; CNPC rose more than 3%, CNOOC rose more than 2%, and Sinopec rose slightly.
Coal stocks strengthened. Mongolian coking coal rose more than 6%, Shougang resources rose more than 4%, China Coal Energy rose more than 3%, China Shenhua rose more than 2%, and Yankuang Energy rose more than 1%.
Apple concept stocks rose one after another. BYD Electronics and Gaowei Electronics rose more than 3%, Ruisheng Technology rose nearly 3%, and Shunyu Optical Technology rose nearly 2%.
On the other side, non-ferrous metals stocks such as gold stocks and aluminum stocks rose sharply; domestic retail stocks declined markedly, and domestic housing stocks showed a high and low trend, and most power stocks, which had been rising continuously, pulled back.
In terms of individual stocks,$ALI HEALTH (00241.HK)$It rose nearly 13%, and adjusted net profit for the 2024 fiscal year increased by about 90% year on year.
