前場に注目すべき3つのポイント~売り一巡後はハイテク株の底堅さを見極め~

3 points you should pay attention to in the front market ~ determine the solidity of high-tech stocks after a round of sales ~

Fisco Japan ·  May 24 07:50

I would like to pay attention to the following 3 points in the pre-market transaction on the 24th.

■Determine the solidity of high-tech stocks after a round of sales

■Goodcom A, 2Q revised downward operating profit 869 million yen ← 1,261 billion yen

■Notable materials from the front floor: Aida to launch 2 types of presses next month, exclusively for molding fuel cell parts

■Determine the solidity of high-tech stocks after a round of sales

In the Japanese stock market on the 24th, it seems that market developments to determine solidity after a round of sales will continue. In the US market on the 23rd, the NY Dow depreciated by 605 dollars and the NASDAQ depreciated by 65 points. NVIDIA's good financial results led to an improvement in investor sentiment, but after that, employment-related indicators and PMIs were stronger than expected, and the rise in long-term interest rates due to receding expectations of interest rate cuts became a burden and began to decline. Chicago Nikkei 225 futures are 38560 yen, which is 540 yen lower than Osaka. The yen exchange rate has been hovering in the 156 yen 90 yen range per dollar.

It seems that it will start with a gap down in the form of moving towards Chicago futures. The night session of Nikkei 225 futures showed reluctance to decline at the 75-day line level, but it fell below the same line due to the appearance that the decline widened towards the end of the session. Yesterday's Nikkei Stock Average recovered to 39100 yen since mid-April in terms of closing price from a rebound supported by the 75-day line, but it seems that the previous day's rebound will be written off.

However, while there was general weakness in the US, NVIDIA rose by more than 9%. Since only semiconductors have risen in the S&P 500 industry index, trends in Advantest <6857>, Lasertech <6920>, and East Electric <8035>, which had strong price movements the day before after the first round of sales, are likely to attract attention. In the morning, sales will take precedence due to the influence of trading involving the index, but it seems that after one round of sales, people will be aware of movements aimed at push.

If high tech stocks seem reluctant to decline due to values that have a large impact on the index, it seems likely that the Nikkei Stock Average will be perceived as a support line for the 75-day stock average. Also, since the exchange market shows a slight trend of depreciation of the yen, it is likely that export-related trends after the first round of sales will attract attention. In addition, I would like to consider that funds aimed at capturing short-term price ranges will go to one part of the theme stocks with high growth expectations, such as AI-related ones.

■Goodcom A, 2Q revised downward operating profit 869 million yen ← 1,261 billion yen

Goodcom A (3475) announced revisions to its earnings forecast for the 2nd quarter of the fiscal year ending 2024/10. Net sales were revised downward from 19.496 billion yen to 11.351 billion yen, and operating profit was revised downward from 1,261 billion yen to 869 million yen. In addition to sales of 23 buildings and 1190 units carried over from the previous fiscal year, sales have also begun for properties completed in the current fiscal year, and as a sales method, they have switched to sales that scrutinize the conditions of each building, rather than sales with multiple buildings (bulk) before. In order to focus on sales under more favorable conditions, we decided to work flexibly to improve profitability by not limiting sales records up to the 2nd quarter and making it during the current fiscal year.
