國家能源局發布今年首四個月全國電力工業統計數據顯示，截至4月底，全國累計發電裝機容量約30.1億千瓦，按年增長14.1%。其中，太陽能發電裝機容量約6.7億千瓦，按年增長52.4%；風電裝機容量約4.6億千瓦，按年增長20.6%。
今年首四個月，全國主要發電企業電源工程完成投資1,912億元人民幣，按年增長5.2%。電網工程完成投資1,229億元人民幣，按年增長24.9%。
