國家發改委宣布，今年首四個月全國規上工業發電29,329億千瓦時，按年增6.1%。4月發電6,901億千瓦時，增長3.1%；其中，火力電力、水電、核電、太陽能發電分別成長1.3%、21%、5.9%、21.4%。
首四個月全國全社會用電量年增9%；分產業看，一產、二產、三產及居民生活用電量分別成長10.1%、7.5%、13.5%和10.8%。4月全社會用電量年增7%。
