On May 20, China Nuclear Power International (02302.HK) announced that the term of office of the company's current auditor Hong Kong Lixin Dehao Certified Public Accountants Limited (“Lixin Dehao”) will expire at the upcoming Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company (“Lixin Dehao”). Considering that Lixin Dehao has been the Company's auditor since the year ended December 31, 2020, the Company's Board of Directors and Audit Committee believe that now is the right time to rotate the company's auditors to maintain good corporate governance practices and raise their standards. According to this, Lixin Dehao's term of office will expire at the end of the annual shareholders' meeting, retire as the company's auditor, and will not seek re-appointment as the company's auditor.

Based on the recommendation of the Audit Committee, the Board of Directors has decided to recommend the appointment of Xinyong Zhonghe (Hong Kong) Certified Public Accountants Limited (“Xinyong Zhonghe”) as the company's auditor after Lixin Dehao retires. Subject to shareholders' approval by ordinary resolution at the annual shareholders' meeting, the term of office of Shinaga Zhonghe as the company's auditor shall take effect from the end of the annual shareholders' meeting until the end of the next annual general meeting of shareholders.
