Apple International ＜2788＞ announced consolidated financial results for the 1st quarter (January to March 24) of the fiscal year ending 2024/12 on the 10th. Sales increased 67.4% from the same period last year to 13.378 billion yen, operating profit increased 55.3% to 488 million yen, ordinary profit increased 45.5% to 548 million yen, and quarterly net profit attributable to parent company shareholders increased 40.6% to 424 million yen.

As before, the company group has been working to revitalize distribution and expand profits in the automobile market by securing multilateral trade routes, mainly in Southeast Asian countries, etc., where the automobile market is expected to expand, and aiming for high added value.

Sales in the automobile sales-related business increased 67.2% from the same period last year to 13.364 billion yen, and segment profit increased 64.1% to 516 million yen.

Other businesses (reuse distribution business) have started a branded product purchase business for watches, precious metals, etc. on the consolidated subsidiary Apple Auto Network in order to contribute to the realization of a sustainable recycling-oriented society through reuse businesses, starting with automobiles.

Regarding the full-year consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending 2024/12, the initial plan for sales is 29.563 billion yen, down 4.4% from the previous fiscal year, operating profit down 17.6% to 904 million yen, ordinary profit down 17.5% to 1,048 billion yen, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders down 22.4% to 781 million yen remains unchanged.
