On the 15th, Eid (6038) announced the consolidated financial results for the third quarter of the 2024 fiscal year (July 23 - March 24). The revenue increased by 0.9% year-on-year to 4.654 billion yen, operating profit decreased by 3.1% to 492 million yen, ordinary profit increased by 0.8% to 514 million yen, and net profit for the quarter attributable to parent company shareholders decreased by 13.3% to 290 million yen.

The sales of the Creator Platform business (CP business) increased by 0.8% year-on-year to 4.129 billion yen, and the segment profit (operating profit) decreased by 2.7% year-on-year to 384 million yen. The performance of EFT Pacific, a subsidiary that was consolidated in the previous quarter, continued to contribute, and system sales during this cumulative period in the third quarter increased significantly by 34.2% year-on-year to 917 million yen, while data and content sales remained steady at 1.753 billion yen, a 1.0% decrease from the previous year. On the other hand, although advertising on internet media is gradually getting better, the net advertising sales with high profit margins still fell below the previous year by 13.8% to 1.125 billion yen. In addition, the publishing business decreased by 3.3% to 364 million yen.

The sales of the Creator Solution business (CS business) increased by 2.4% year-on-year to 524 million yen, and the segment profit (operating profit) decreased by 4.6% year-on-year to 108 million yen. Although orders for EC solutions have not increased much, research solutions continue to be strong, and overall there were no significant changes in revenue and operating profit compared to the previous year.

On the same day, Eid revised its consolidated performance forecast for the 2024 fiscal year. The revenue is expected to increase by 0.5% (9.0% decrease from the previous forecast) to 6.100 billion yen, operating profit is expected to decrease by 12.1% (23.1% decrease from the previous forecast) to 500 million yen, ordinary profit is expected to decrease by 8.2% (20.0% decrease from the previous forecast) to 520 million yen, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders is expected to increase by 7.1% (26.8% decrease from the previous forecast) to 300 million yen.

In addition, it announced a dividend of 14.00 yen per share for the fiscal year ending June 2024, an increase of 1.00 yen per share from the previous dividend forecast.
