According to public information, Tesla's Shanghai energy storage plant covers a total area of about 200,000 square meters, with a total investment of about 1.45 billion yuan. The factory is close to Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory, which is Tesla's first energy storage gigafactory project outside the mainland of the US.
