Greenway, May 12 | The United States Postal Service (USPS) said on May 10, local time, that it is seeking a 25% increase in the average price of mass shipments through its package selection service. The price increase will take effect on July 14 and must be approved by the Postal Administration because USPS no longer plans to encourage all parties to pool mail volumes from multiple shippers and deliver these volumes directly to the destination delivery unit.
