Accel <6730> announced consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending 2024/3 on the 9th. Net sales increased 21.4% from the previous fiscal year to 17.57 billion yen, operating profit increased 50.3% to 2,426 billion yen, ordinary profit increased 35.1% to 2,449 billion yen, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders increased 30.9% to 1,771 billion yen.
Sales related to LSI development and sales increased 22.3% from the previous fiscal year to 16.937 billion yen, and segment profit increased 32.4% to 3.688 billion yen. By product, graphics LSI for pachinko and pachislot machines, which is the main product, sold about 640,000 units, an increase of about 129,000 units compared to the previous fiscal year. Also, the number of memory module products sold on a new sales basis was lower than the previous fiscal year, but since the sales ratio of high-unit price products with large memory capacity increased, sales exceeded the previous fiscal year. Note that the balance of orders received for the same segment at the end of the current fiscal year was 14.543 billion yen.
Sales related to new businesses increased 1.6% from the previous fiscal year to 632 million yen, and segment losses were 381 million yen (loss of 405 million yen in the previous fiscal year). In addition to graphics LSI for embedded devices, we are involved in startup businesses for new business areas utilizing advanced technologies such as AI and blockchain.
Regarding the consolidated earnings forecast for the full year ending 2025/3, we expect sales to fall 24.3% from the previous fiscal year to 13.30 billion yen, operating profit down 54.7% to 1100 billion yen, ordinary profit down 55.1% to 1100 billion yen, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders to fall 56.5% to 770 million yen.
Also, on the same day, it was announced that the dividend per share will be 81.00 yen, an increase of 9.00 yen from the previously announced forecast, for the year-end dividend for the fiscal year ending 2024/3. As a result, full-year dividends will increase by 3 yen compared to the previous fiscal year.
