■Shareholder return policy

Nippon Washo Holdings ＜2499＞ has a basic policy on profit allocation to protect shareholder interests and implement continuous and stable dividends from the standpoint of respect for shareholders. Based on this policy, annual dividends of 7.0 yen (dividend payout ratio 67.2%) were paid for the fiscal year ending 2020/12 and 12.0 yen (dividend payout ratio 40.2%) for the fiscal year ending 2021/12.

Furthermore, quarterly dividends have been introduced from the fiscal year ending 2022/12 with the aim of increasing the attractiveness of stocks and increasing the number of new shareholders by quickly returning management results to shareholders. In the fiscal year ending 2022/12, annual dividends of 13.0 yen were paid, with 3.0 yen for the 1st quarter to the 3rd quarter, and 4.0 yen for the fourth quarter (end of fiscal year), respectively. Since the 2023/12 fiscal year is the 40th anniversary of the company's founding, an annual dividend of 14.0 yen was paid by adding a commemorative dividend of 1.0 yen, but the ongoing 2024/12 fiscal year is scheduled to be a normal annual dividend of 13.0 yen. In addition to dividend amounts and dividend payout ratios, the company's attitude of “wanting to return money to shareholders as soon as possible” can be evaluated.
