Air LeaseQ1's revenue was $663 million, and market expectations were $680 million; earnings per share were $0.87, down 17.9% year over year, and market expectations were $0.91. The decline in profit during the period was due to higher interest payments on funds it borrowed to purchase aircraft, and interest expenses increased 19.8% to US$181.6 million.
