Individual Investor Tamasuke Limited: Weak because TSMC's financial results have passed? Pay attention to semiconductor-related stocks that are still bullish [FISCO Social Reporter]

I'm worried about how semiconductor stocks, which have driven the stock market until now, will look like in the future. Investors who have gone through TSMC's financial results have begun to appear, and I also think that semiconductor-related capital investment will increase in earnest from now on.

Once again, my name is Kyusuke Limited, and I'm writing the stock & cat blog “Profitable Stock Information “Cat Husband's Stock Knows No Ceiling”.

Even though it is semiconductor-related, it is divided into a wide range of fields, from large stocks to small-cap stocks. Scrutiny of brands (companies) is probably more important than rough semiconductor-related themes, such as whether it is a front process or a back process, what part of semiconductor manufacturing equipment is used in, etc.

As mentioned above, in response to the situation in the Middle East and US inflation, which is stronger than expected, there is also a trend of determining profits in semiconductor-related matters, which have been strong until now. It is uncertain how long these adjustments will continue, but it is clear that the development of semiconductors themselves and high demand will continue in the future due to technological innovations such as AI, which are becoming increasingly sophisticated.

As long as long-term US interest rates remain high, the market environment will continue to be tough for high-tech stocks. If the market price swayed by US interest rates is prolonged due to the Fed's statement, I'm also convinced by the decision to sell once and watch the situation until it reaches the bottom price. I'm wondering if semiconductor-related matters can be a beacon of hope for a bad market.

The strength of semiconductor-related matters is that it has strong ties with giant IT companies in the US and foreign semiconductor companies represented by TSMC in terms of national policy for both Japan and the US. It is extremely unfortunate that the Kishida Cabinet has shown almost no interest in the economy, but now that projects such as Lapidas have started running, government investment will probably continue until a certain level of results comes out. As for me, semiconductor-related matters have a bullish stance and are aiming to push the spotlight.

Now, let's check semiconductor-related stocks again. The announcement that Zain Electronics (6769), a fabless semiconductor company, has begun providing a new camera kit THSCJ101 compatible with 13 million pixels and high-speed autofocus for the US NVIDIA platform was well received. After all, you can see how sensitive the market is to the term NVIDIA.

There is speculation that Tatsumo (6266), the world's leading liquid crystal coating device, is also related to power semiconductors. It is moving above the 26-week line on the weekly chart, and the financial results announcement on 5/14 is also being monitored to see if the upward trend can continue even as the external environment deteriorates.

Lhotse <6323>, which announced good financial results on 4/11, has also formed a solid trend. Along with the financial results, a stock split from 1 share to 10 shares was also announced using 8/31 as the reference date. If capital investment of semiconductor companies such as Lapidas expands, will the company's semiconductor/FPD-related equipment business also benefit?

Lhasa Kogyo (4022), which is mainly phosphorus-based products for semiconductors, seems to have stopped declining after recently breaking the 25th line. PBR is split by 1, and it seems that they are in a wait-and-see mood before the financial results are settled on 5/15.

Similarly, it seems that Satori Electric <7420>, which seems to have stopped lowering due to adjustments, is also listening to the timing of the rebound. In the financial results announcement on 4/11, it seems that automotive semiconductors contributed to business results. Performance was also strong, and since the stock price fell to a level where PBR split 1 times, the sense of undervaluation is also conspicuous.

The last one is Sanshin Electric <8150>, where the upward correction on 4/22 was well received. The chart, which rebounded from a downward trend, surpassed the 25th line. The company is undervalued for both PER and PBR, and is increasing dividends, so will there be purchases that are favorable to shareholder returns?

Well, I've been talking a bit long, but my blog introduces such “individual stocks and theme stocks that are strong now.” If you have free time, please take a look. We look forward to seeing you with our beloved cat “Al.”
