Rio Tinto PLC has announced a total voting rights figure of 1,252,574,567 following the update on its issued share capital, which includes 1,255,915,469 Ordinary shares and an exclusion of 3,340,902 shares held in treasury. This key figure for shareholders serves as a denominator for calculating notifications of interest or changes therein, as per the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules. Additionally, the company maintains a Special Voting Share and DLC Dividend Share in connection with its dual listed companies structure with Rio Tinto Limited.
