Barclays plc (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has successfully completed the purchase of 3,426,823 of its own ordinary shares for cancellation, as part of its share buy-back program announced earlier in February. The buy-back took place on the London Stock Exchange with prices ranging between 203.050p and 205.400p per share, leading to a reduced issued share capital of 15,000,163,371 ordinary shares. This action is expected to affect the calculation of shareholders’ notification obligations under the FCA’s rules.
