Barclays plc (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has recently executed a share buy-back, purchasing 3,415,810 of its own ordinary shares for cancellation, with the transaction conducted on the London Stock Exchange through J.P. Morgan Securities plc. The buy-back, which saw shares bought at prices ranging from 202.7500p to 205.9000p, is part of a larger program initiated on 21 February 2024, with a total of 206,215,660 shares acquired to date. Following the cancellation, Barclays PLC’s total issued share capital will be reduced to 15,003,227,579 ordinary shares with voting rights.
