China Mobile officially unveiled the Dayunpanshi DPU at its 2024 Computing Power Network Conference. The chip has a bandwidth of 400 Gbps, doubling the maximum transmission rate of domestic DPU chips. The product will later be widely used in China Mobile data center construction, covering business scenarios such as general computing and intelligent computing.

The DPU (data processing chip DataProcessUnit) is considered to be the “third main chip” after the CPU and GPU. As one of the innovative technologies of computing power networks, computing power offloading is a key technology for building high-performance, high-reliability cloud platforms in the fields of integrated virtualization, data security, operation and maintenance management.
