According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Chunlai (01969) announced interim results for the six months ended February 29, 2024, with revenue of about 814 million yuan, up 8.7% year on year; net profit of about 384 million yuan, up 16% year on year; adjusted net profit of about 386 million yuan, up 16.3% year on year; basic profit per share of 32 points, with an interim dividend of 0.0907 yuan per share.

The number of students enrolled in the 2023/2024 school year increased slightly by 0.1% from 103,931 on February 28, 2023 to 104,053 on February 29, 2024. This increase is mainly due to the combined effects of the increase in enrollment numbers at the Yuanyang Campus of Anyang University, Jingzhou University, and the School of Health Sciences due to the increase in the number of students enrolled in the enrollment plan, as well as the combined effects of the decline in the number of students enrolled in Shangqiu University, Anyang University, and the School of Applied Science and Technology of Shangqiu University.

The announcement stated that the increase in income was mainly due to an increase in average tuition fees.
